Title: Director, Facilities & Corporate Purchasing

Location: Wings Financial Credit Union - Apple Valley, MN

Position duties and candidate qualifications:

Reports to: Vice President - Chief Administration Officer / Corporate Counsel

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage all facility related items for the existing regional and national branch structure plus any new or proposed branches. This includes working closely with real estate developers, general contractors, architects, landlords, airport administrators, brokers, project managers, and various vendors and sales representatives.
• Lead the credit union Project Team on the implementation of new branches ensuring that all key functions such as the security and information systems equipment, the ATM, the marketing material, operational equipment such as drive-thru units, vaults, signage, and furniture systems are secured on time and within budget.
• Prepare the annual budget and manage operating expenses for the Facilities Department.
• Administer all property management functions for the headquarters as well as all credit union branches. Act as the liaison between all credit union employees and the property management company.
• Manage all building contracts.
• Assist in negotiation of leases for credit union occupied space, as well as tenant occupied space.
• Manage miscellaneous office operations / contracts such as the functioning of all the copiers, faxes.
• Review workflow, office arrangements, and sequence of operations to assess needs for new and/or improved office equipment such as copiers, faxes, scanners, etc.
• Manage a staff of six employees.

Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Facilities Management or Business Administration required 5 – 7 years minimum of facilities management & supervisory experience required Experience with lease agreements and contract negotiations required Facilities management experience in a financial industry preferred Excellent benefits, medical, dental, life & AD&D, LTD, STD, 401 k. Salary mid 80’s.
